Our approach

Good relationships.
Clear responsibilities.

A structured conversation helps establish what is being moved, where it can go and what each party needs to provide.

01

Tell us about the material

Start with its source, description, approximate quantity, location and preferred timing. Let us know whether this is a single load or a recurring requirement. Photographs and existing specifications help us ask the right questions.

02

Build the specification

We discuss the available information and what a prospective receiving facility needs to assess the load. Further analysis, samples or clarification may be necessary where composition or condition is uncertain.

03

Confirm the route and terms

Before a movement is arranged, the parties need to agree the destination, acceptance conditions, quantity and charging basis. Loading, transport and documentation responsibilities should be clear.

04

Coordinate the movement

Collection and delivery arrangements are coordinated with the relevant parties. Third-party carriers undertake transport and the receiving operator determines acceptance against its requirements.

05

Bring the records together

We use the available load date, weights, ticket references and supporting documents to prepare or reconcile the commercial record. Discrepancies are raised with the relevant parties for resolution.

Working together

The details that
make a difference.

A clear material description

Tell us what the material is and where it comes from, including any contamination, residual contents or known hazardous properties.

A realistic movement plan

Quantity, load presentation, loading equipment and access restrictions help establish a workable collection and delivery arrangement.

A traceable commercial record

Use consistent load dates, vehicle and ticket references. Provide the relevant transfer and weight records so queries can be investigated.

Questions answered

Before we
get started.

Does Parriss Plastics operate a processing facility?

Parriss Plastics acts as a broker and trader. Physical transport, receipt, storage and processing are carried out by the relevant third-party operators.

Can you discuss regular loads?

Yes. Tell us the expected material, frequency, volume and location. Repeat arrangements remain subject to availability, the agreed specification and receiving-site acceptance.

Can you quote from a waste code alone?

A code alone is not enough to establish a suitable route or price. The material description, source, condition, quantity and location are also needed, with analysis or samples where required.

How is a price established?

It depends on the material, quality, quantity, location and the route being considered. The agreed terms should identify the pricing basis, transport responsibilities and acceptance conditions.

Do you guarantee that every load is recycled?

No. Suitability depends on the material and the receiving process. Any recycling, other recovery or disposal route must be assessed and agreed for the specific stream.

What should I send with my enquiry?

A material description, collection postcode, approximate tonnage or container count, frequency and timing. Include known contamination and offer photographs, specifications or analysis if available.
